\u2728 During the #<\/span>FrontiersInCardioVascularBiomedicine<\/a> congress, organised by the European Society of Cardiology<\/a> in #<\/span>Leuven<\/a> (\ud83c\udde7\ud83c\uddea) last April, Dr. Martina Calore<\/a> and PhD candidate Antonella Serrecchia<\/a> presented recent #<\/span>IMPACT<\/a> results through an invited talk and a poster selected for a moderated poster session.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd2c The talk focused on #<\/span>IMPACT<\/a>\u2019s 3D hiPSC-based microtissue models, generated from patients with arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy (#<\/span>ACM<\/a>). They are designed to reproduce key aspects of the disease in vitro, including fibro-adipose replacement and structural changes in desmosomes.<\/p>\n

Within #<\/span>IMPACT<\/a>, this platform will help researchers better understand disease mechanisms and explore new potential therapeutic strategies. \ud83e\uddec<\/p>\n
