🥇Emma Zanella, PhD student in the Laboratory of Prof. Milena Bellin at the University of Padova and currently on a research visit at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) has won the Best Poster Presentation Award at the 23rd Dutch-German Joint Meeting, held in Amsterdam on March 12-14, 2026.
The Dutch-German Joint Meeting brings together leading experts in molecular cardiology to share insights on disease mechanisms and emerging therapeutic approaches across diverse cardiovascular conditions. This edition places special emphasis on early- and mid-career researchers, promoting fresh ideas alongside established scientific expertise.
Emma presented her poster entitled “Multicellular human cardiac microtissues to uncover disease mechanisms and therapeutic rescue in arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy” showcasing the latest advancements from the IMPACT project.
