🌌 European Researchers’ Night 2025 – Milan ✨
It was a pleasure to take part in the European Researchers’ Night and to present the IMPACT EU project in the heart of Milan at the Loggia dei Mercanti on September 27.
💡 This annual initiative promoted by the European Commission celebrates science through exhibitions, experiments and workshops open to everyone. It brings citizens closer to research, fosters dialogue with scientists and highlights the role of innovation in everyday life.
🫀 Through interactive and engaging workshops we explored with children, students and the wider public how the heart works, how its rhythm changes during physical activity and what happens when it becomes vulnerable. Together we experimented with simple activities to understand how science can measure, explain and protect the heartbeat.
We also showed how artificial intelligence can be trained, just like an athlete, to recognise patterns in ECGs and support future research on arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy (ACM).
🌍 The event was a valuable occasion to spread knowledge and create space for dialogue and curiosity between science and society.
🙌🏻 Thanks to the audience and to the Co.Science project for organizing this exciting event.
