✨ Exciting science at ISHR 2025 in Nara! ✨

We’re proud to share that Martina Calore, PhD represented IMPACT EU project at the International Society for Heart Research – European Section (ISHR-ES) World Congress, held in Nara, Japan, May 11–14, 2025.
🌟 Martina Calore presented our recent findings with an abstract titled:
“Phenotypic findings in murine and hiPSC-based models for the same pathogenic variant causing arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy”.
🔬 This work highlights the value – and complementarity – of integrating animal and human iPSC-based models to understand genotype-phenotype relationships in arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy (ACM), a heritable and often life-threatening cardiac disease.
💡 A key message: modeling the same pathogenic variant in multiple systems offers unique insights into disease mechanisms and opens new avenues for precision medicine.
🙏 Grateful to the ISHR community for a vibrant and inspiring conference, and to all our collaborators in the IMPACT EU project consortium for their dedication and expertise!
